Bio:
Ron Braun is an accomplished cartoonist and the creator of Once Upon A Platypus, an all-ages science fiction/fantasy tale about a young girl whose discovery of a talking platypus with amnesia plunges her into a wild and dangerous adventure. The initial issues, "Beginnings", "Beginnings 2" and "Platypus Tales" have already been released with the first book of a graphic novel series, tentatively titled "A Platypus Among Us", due out later this year. As a  companion project, he has also created the "I, Platypus: The Chronicles of Dakk Waggitt" series of prints featuring the story’s co-star assuming the identities of various superheroes and movie icons.
 
Ron’s past work has also included the comic strips Life As We Know It, Hello Cruel World, Toon It Up and Modern Daze, which are available in book collections as well. One of the most recent, My Best Friend is an Idiot!, collecting the Life As We Know It strip, has ranked as high as third on Lulu’s Top 100 Bestselling Comics & Graphic Novels list.
 
And, since 2013, Ron has been working with Elements Financial on a series of projects featuring "The Professor and Ruby," characters he created specifically for their kids' financial growth program.
 
Ron lives in Brownsburg, IN with his wife and family.
