What makes this show different?

The INDYpendent Show provides a setting where attendees can learn and interact with creators. Along with offering advice about how to create comics, many creators also participate in panel discussions and workshops to answer specific questions about the creative process. 

When you purchase your badge for the show, ($4 adults and $2 students), you have the opportunity to write down creative areas of interest.  You then wear the badge around your neck, allowing others to see what you are interested in learning about.  Walking through the show, you will notice signs on each creators table that lists their name and also highlights some of their creative strengths.  This badge and sign system allows both creators and attendees a quick way to find areas to discuss.

We encourage you to bring samples of projects so you may request feedback. While at the show, ask the creators to share their rough sketches, preliminary work, and their creative processes!
